Rsync.com = Risk of Lost Data

Why would you trust or use an unreliable technology to perform your backup or sync functions?  The bottom line is that none of us want to think about the possibility that we might actually lose some of our precious files.  However using an unreliable technology will catch up with you sooner than later.  Companies like Rsync.net that claim to have a history of service don't tell the whole truth.  The truth is that they are using a technology and infrastructure that could just as easily cause you to lose all your files just as quickly as you thought you were backed up.   So... why go there?

There is no such thing as a 100% reliable computer, cloud based service or network.  After all they are all based on machines and software built and written by humans, and ALL humans make mistakes.
